Water, sewer, electric, gas and communication connections for a new house, trenched and stubbed to the foundation on time.
Building a house means connecting it to the world. The water has to come from the main, the sewer has to leave toward the street, and the electric, gas and communication lines have to arrive from the lot edge or a pedestal. Doing it right early saves the builder rework and the owner headaches.
We trench from the lot connection points to the foundation, install service lines and laterals at the correct depth and grade, set cleanouts and meter boxes and stub the lines at the house. We coordinate the sequence with the builder, the plumber and the utilities, and we keep the trenches open for each inspection before backfilling and finishing the grade.
The utilities must reach the right spot on the foundation. We work from the plumbing and electrical plans and stake the stub-outs before trenching.
Water and sewer typically need separation, but electric and communications can sometimes share. Combining saves digging and keeps the lot tidy.
Mud, spoil and heavy equipment ruin yards. We stage materials, keep trenches narrow and restore the grade promptly so the landscaper starts clean.
Utilities, foundation, framing and landscaping all depend on one another. Hooking up at the right time keeps the builder moving and avoids digging a finished lawn.
