Excavation and replacement of collapsed or crushed sewer pipe, with the line brought back to a correct slope and connected cleanly.
A collapsed sewer line shows up as total blockage, repeated backups that cleaning cannot clear, a sinkhole in the yard or a camera that cannot pass a point. Old clay and fiber pipe crush under loads and roots, and no amount of snaking restores a pipe that has caved in.
We locate the collapse, usually with a camera and a locator, and excavate to expose the damaged section. The broken pipe is removed, the bed is rebuilt, and new pipe is installed to the right slope and tied into the good pipe on both sides. Cleanouts are added where they will help later, and a final camera pass confirms that the line is clear.
A camera shows how far it can go, and a locator shows where it is on the surface. That keeps the excavation short and in the right place.
Collapses often leave a void or soft soil under the pipe. We remove it and rebuild the bed so the new pipe will not settle.
The new pipe has to meet old pipe of a different size or material. Proper couplings and slope make the junction sound.
If drains are backing up, limit water use until the line is repaired. More water means more backup, and cleaning it up is unpleasant and costly.
