Replace old sewer and water lines with new pipe pulled through the old path, so you keep your driveway, trees and landscaping.
Trenchless repair solves a very common problem: the failing pipe runs under something you do not want to destroy. A mature tree, a concrete driveway, a patio or a finished landscape can make a conventional trench difficult and costly.
In pipe bursting, a bursting head is pulled through the old pipe, breaking it outward while pulling a new pipe into its place. We dig two small pits, one at each end, rather than a trench along the whole run. The result is a new, continuous line with fewer joints, and a yard that is mostly untouched.
Pipe bursting works well on clay, cast iron and similar brittle pipe in a straight run. Severe offsets, heavy sags and crossing utilities can rule it out, and we tell you honestly if it will not work.
Bursting installs a full-strength new pipe, usually HDPE, which resists roots and has few joints. That is different from relining, which leaves the old pipe in place.
We inspect before to plan the pull and after to confirm the new line is clear, continuous and properly connected at both ends.
Trenchless methods depend on the existing pipe. A camera run before the work shows whether the pipe is straight enough, whether it has collapsed and whether there are connections that must be restored.

Not always. It can cost less once driveway, tree and landscape restoration are counted, and it can cost more on a short, open run. We compare both for your site.
Often the same size or one size larger. The burst head can upsize in suitable conditions.
It needs to be reasonably straight. Sharp bends or collapsed sections may need a short excavation.
Yes. Water service lines can also be replaced this way, with the right pipe and fittings.
A camera inspection tells us. Straight, continuous runs of old pipe are good candidates.
